The morning of Corey's birthday I woke him up singing "Happy Birthday," he just rolled over and went back to sleep. Pretty typical! I continued to make a big deal about the fact that he was now 4, and he just looked at me. Then, with his little matter-of-fact attitude, he says "I'm already 4." I had to explain to him about the birthday "party," and how it was only a party to celebrate his birthday...that that day was his actual birthday. I still don't think he gets it.
My mom and I ended up taking cupcakes to pre-school, and we all sang to him there. He was very excited!
