Grandpa Marion

So this has been a difficult Christmas...Mike's Grandfather had a mild heart attack just before Christmas. After being in the ER, they gave him a blood thinner to help prevent further injury. The next morning he had a stroke. Unfortunately he passed away on Christmas Eve. It's been difficult, but we are all getting through it! Mike's sister from New York was able to see him before he passed away, so everyone in the family was able to spend some time with him.

I didn't even get a chance to send out my Christmas cards this year. We definitely purchased them (they were totally cute by the way!), I just never got them addressed. So if you feel that you've missed out of the Christmas cards, sorry!!! I was unable to do many of the things I had planned...part of me feels very upset that I didn't get to do the things I wanted...while other parts of me was so thankful that we were able to spend so much time with Mike's family at Christmas. It's a catch 22.

We are slowly getting back to normal...just taking some time. I have so much to do with my house. So many toys to put away, Christmas stuff to find something to do with...laundry, dishes...urgh! It's always something.

We will miss you Grandpa!! I know you are happily with your wife Mary, and spending your afternoons fishing or gardening...all the luxuries of having you in the family will truly be missed!!

I am very sorry to hear about Grandpa Marion. Give our best to Mike.

On another note, I still have those clothes for you, so if you could email me your address I will ship them to you. If nothing else..Bradley will have some more clothes for when he gets older! :-)

Ang - don't feel bad about not getting a chance to send out the Christmas Cards....maybe you can just write Happy New Year on the back and send them out as New Year's Cards! Better late than never! Love ya.
